FOR THE KIDS
In conclusion
When you come to church on Sunday morning, you may be welcomed by greeters or ushers upon entering. They will hand you a paper bulletin. This will give you the order and information of prayerful worship. You will enter our sanctuary where worship happens. Feel free to sit wherever you please. We have open space for you if you have a walker or wheelchair.
As you sit, you will see prayers in the bulletin that we pray together and the page numbers of the songs we will sing together. You will find a Bible, a Hymnal song book, and envelopes for offering located in each book holder.
Our leader and messenger at Grace is Pastor Gary Olson. He stands in the front of the sanctuary and will begin with prayer to ready our hearts for the coming message. We will greet each other and share a sign of God’s peace by shaking hands and saying hello to each other.
The Pastor will give us a message and talk about God’s promise for His people. The information is based on scripture from the Bible. The words spoken from scripture are truth directly from God. It is our hope to apply these truths to our lives in order to live in peace and hope in God’s promises.
We celebrate Communion on the first and third Sundays of each month. You are invited to partake in Communion if you know and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.
Our nursery room is used for anyone who needs to step out of the sanctuary during church service. Sometimes children need a break from sitting still or trying to be quiet for a long period of time. This room offers a separate space where children can be engaged with activities like coloring or playing with toys. The service can be heard through the speakers so you can hear the message as your children play. Please do not leave children unattended.
We also offer busy bags to engage the children staying for service. They are located outside the sanctuary with crayons, color pages and small toys to engage your child during the service. The bag can be taken home after the service.
We welcome all God’s people to our church. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ accepts all people; no matter our background. When we accept God into our hearts. His Spirit does His good work in us. Welcome and know the love of Jesus Christ.
